BE PREPARED -  "I teach a class of 11 year old girls that are extremely wild. The best thing that I have found is to have my classroom ready ahead of time. I know that this is hard sometimes with multiple wards in a building and sharing classrooms, but if you explain the situation, usually something can be worked out for you. I go 1/2 hour before our sacrament meeting starts and set up the room. After sacrament, I can go right into opening exercises and the girls behave better if I am there to greet them. When we go to class, I am not fumbling or trying to get everything set up and I try to have something in the room to catch their interest as we come in, either a picture or something on the floor or table. It has made a huge difference in the behavior of my girls." KIM, AMERICAN FORK UTAH
