I LOVE YOU DAY

We show up, unannounced, at the home of each child in a given class, who is less-active. We invite them to Church and offer a ride. We plan to have all children visited by May, and will hold an "I Love You Day" in June, as used to be held in February Churchwide. This will be a day to encourage all less-active children to attend, as well as non-member friends.  Ultimately, we are affecting the whole family. Not only the children are visited, but of course the whole family is visited. We are also helping to "clean up" the ward list, by seeing who's no longer there. We also have each class write notes once a month to mail to the less-active children. The more we keep in touch, the more loved the child will feel."
